I can’t wait to start taking yoga classes at the gym!
I had my first appointment with my personal trainer. He gave me a couple different tips and tricks. Not only does he run high intensity classes at my gym, he also is obsessed with nutrition. He let me know today that carbs are your worst enemy in the morning. In fact, he challenged me to not eat anything for breakfast except three to four eggs and three to four pieces of bacon. High protein and fat, little to no carbs. The reason for this is that apparently when you pump your body full of carbs, not only do you fluctuate your blood sugar and crave carbs throughout the day, but it can also make you crabby by pumping your body with insulin. As a result of the fluctuation, your mood becomes less stable, increasing the chances of anxiety, stress and irritation.
